Hello!! Welcome to my marathon site!! As you may know, I am training for the Midnight Sun Marathon in Anchorage, Alaska on June 22. I joined The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Team in Training program. I have raised over $6000 so far and will continue to raise funds for The Society to help find a cure for blood-related cancers. You can check out the diary to see how training is coming and there are some pictures in the photo area. I hope to add more soon.

This past August, my 10 year old cousin, Lindsay Neuhauser, passed away after a 16-month battle with non-Hodgkins lymphoma. Lindsay was an incredibly bright, thoughtful, and courageous girl. She and her family are inspirations to me for the strength, grace, and courage they showed during such trying times. I will be keeping Lindsay’s spirit with me throughout this endeavor.

Training for and finishing a marathon will definitely be a challenge. This challenge pales in comparison to what Lindsay and her family faced.
